Sliema Wanderers take on Qormi FC this weekend in which it’s a very important clash and which is crucial to the Blues fortunes this season. Danilo Doncic must be looking forward to finally seeing the return of Bulgarian Star Dani Mitev, following a suspension of 3 matches.

The Blues are also set to welcome back Josef Mifsud and Clifford Gatt Baldacchino. It also seems that coach Danilo Doncic, may for the first time this season bank on a nearly fully fit squad except the injured Andrew Decesare and Mark Scerri, Ryan Grech is also doubtful for this game as he is facing a fitness battle following his recovery from a hamstring injury.

The team looks competitive and the new Cameroonian striker, Acient has also lifted the Blues spirits and given the Blues something extra in attack with his powerful runs.

Danilo Doncic will have to make some hard decisions on who to leave out. Trevor Cilia, Lattes, Mitev and Cleavon frendo are all eyeing for spots on the flanks and we expect Ryan Fenech alongside  Nikola Bogdanovic to start in the Blues midfield. Nothing less than 3 points shall satisfy the Blues although a draw may still be good enough on the day.
