The Malta Football Association will continue to organise the Euro Cup – the tournament reserved for clubs representing Malta in UEFA competitions – but this will no longer be considered as an official competition. This was confirmed during a meeting of the Council of the Malta Football Association.

The Executive Committee decided that the Euro Cup will be played as a friendly tournament – similar to other pre-season tournaments which are organised by clubs in summer – in order to allow for more flexibility especially with regards to the use of foreign players.

The Euro Cup, this season featuring Birkirkara, Hibernians, Sliema Wanderers and Valletta, will take place at the Centenary Stadium, Ta' Qali.

Monday 17th June : Sliema W. vs Bkara 
Friday 21st June : Sliema W. vs Hibs
Tuesday 25th June : Sliema W. vs Valletta
All games will kickoff at 8.00pm
